With eleven years experience as a real estate broker for premier San Miguel properties, including the Hotel Matilda and Rosewood San Miguel, you can trust our local expertise. Sellers value our three-decade-long extensive network—regionally and stateside—while buyers have found our exclusive listings boast the most accurate pricing in a market lacking a formal MLS network.
Our management team is unparalleled in San Miguel, from partners boasting three decades of name-dropping property development and brokerage experience, to agents who are fourth-generation San Miguel residents.
But why list your property with Alma Realty San Miguel? Let’s face it—relying on newspaper advertising proves antiquated; it’s literally yesterday’s news. We offer sellers the most extensive multi-media exposure possible for your property: in addition to the region’s most visited web site, you’ll find us—and a link to our listings—on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. And our blog—bringing in an extraordinary amount of visitors to our listings—is unique throughout central Mexico. No other realty agency comes close to providing the exposure we offer our clients.
Sellers, ask about our Marquee Listings for your unique property. Your crème de la crème property deserves an equally matched promotional campaign, and our Marquee Listings go a step beyond the competition.
Is giving back to the community an ideal you support? Us, too. Yes, our partners are involved with local nonprofit agencies, but we do more. Alma Realty San Miguel is the only local realty firm with a formal donation program. Click here to read more about our annual charity partner. Shopping around? Ask the other realty firms if they have a dedicated give-back program like ours.
Buyers, when you see an Alma Realty exclusive listing, you can trust the accuracy of our listing valuation. Simply put, your time is valuable, and so is ours; we won’t waste it with an unrealistic seller’s pricing. But don’t just take our word for it: see what our past clients have said in our testimonials.
Questions? We welcome your contact. Bienvenidos to Alma Realty San Miguel!
Adopt a Charity
The partners at Alma Realty grew up with the parable “To Whom Much is Given” (…de todo aquel a quien le ha sido dado mucho…), and we’re blessed to be able to give much back. Each year, we choose a charity to “adopt” for that year, giving two percent of our gross commissions to the nonprofit listed here.
With 2012 as our inaugural year, we are still waiting to publicly confirm our adopted charity program for this year. Stay tuned for an announcement soon!
Alma Realty’s “Marquee Listings” prove the best property marketing option in San Miguel! Sure, all of our exclusive listings reflect a highly-researched pricing strategy, but “Marquee Listings” offer more:
But “Marquee Listings” offer more:
- enhanced exposure on our site
- increased internet visibility (N.A.R. says 88 percent of buyers start with the internet) outside our web site through videos, blogs, Tweets and posts
- custom architectural photography
- guaranteed print-media exposure
- targeted social media campaigns
- on-site video showings for excited buyers
- and Stewart Title’s insured escrow services.

A dual citizen of Mexico and the U.S., and a 30-year resident of Latin America, the bilingual Ben Calderoni first established a realty office in San Miguel de Allende in 2000, easily bridging the Mexican National and expat real estate market. An ex-oil field executive and University of Texas business graduate, Ben’s 32 years as a real estate broker includes finely-honed pro forma skills in assessing commercial property opportunities—and realistic residential valuations—promoting Ben to the sole broker for both seller and buyer of the boutique Hotel Matilda site.
Ben also represented the Mexico City-based sellers of the luxury Rosewood San Miguel site—after securing all city permits for development—but Ben equally enjoys working with his internationally-based residential clientele, including the buyer of the home sold by an international celebrity band- leader. Ben’s wife, Merry Calderoni, is a highly-respected international artist, owning Fabrica La Aurora’s inaugural gallery, Calderoni Art; their daughter Crystal operates CrystalizeYou and works with Alma Realty.
